Do not compare HIFU by the “D” number alone
Terms such as 7D, 12D, 22D and similar are commonly used in HIFU advertising, but the label is not a consistent treatment standard across brands. Its meaning can vary between suppliers and may refer to cartridge options, line delivery, handpieces or simply a model name.
Check the actual device
Ask for the manufacturer and model. A higher “D” number does not by itself establish device quality, treatment strength, clinical support or suitability.

Ultraformer MPT is different
Ultraformer MPT is the latest Ultraformer generation and uses Micro-Pulsed Technology, multiple delivery modes and dedicated face and body cartridges. It should not be reduced to a generic “D” label.

No. More shots are not automatically better. The correct area, cartridge depth, energy setting, treatment pattern and suitability matter. An excessive or poorly planned treatment is not preferable to an appropriately mapped treatment.
No. Shot delivery, focal depth, line length, treatment mode and energy profile can differ between platforms. A 600-shot quote from one device is not automatically equivalent to 600 shots delivered with Ultraformer MPT.
