A named device, not a vague category
Ultraformer MPT is made by Classys. We can tell you the exact platform, depths, modes and planned coverage before treatment.
Numbered HIFU names are designed to sound advanced. They are not a recognised performance scale. If you want a visible result, compare the actual machine, evidence, treatment coverage and number of sessions required.
The market now uses everything from 2D and 3D to 22D, 25D and 30D HIFU. The definitions change between suppliers. The number does not tell you how effectively the machine delivers energy, how well it is researched or how many treatments you will need.
Proven technology and a properly delivered treatment do. At Avesa Health, we use genuine Ultraformer MPT by Classys, with defined technology, multiple treatment depths, established protocols and device-specific clinical support. We consider it a better choice than anonymous machines sold mainly through numbered marketing claims.
The device determines the available depths, energy delivery, treatment modes and consistency. The clinician then needs to map the right area and deliver enough coverage to create a meaningful result.
Ultraformer MPT is made by Classys. We can tell you the exact platform, depths, modes and planned coverage before treatment.
The aim is not to sell the highest number or the largest package. It is to deliver enough treatment at the correct depths to create a meaningful outcome.
Many suitable patients do not need a pre-sold course of four to six visits. Additional treatment is recommended according to response and goals.
Do not compare the size of the number. Compare the machine, treatment delivered and total course required.
| Comparison | 2D-30D and other number-led HIFU | Ultraformer MPT at Avesa |
|---|---|---|
| Device identity | The same label can be used across unrelated machines from different manufacturers. It does not identify exactly what is treating your skin. | Genuine Ultraformer MPT by Classys: a named manufacturer, defined platform, known cartridges and established protocols. |
| What the name proves | The number is not a recognised measure of power, precision, quality or effectiveness. | MPT refers to the device's Micro-Pulsed Technology and delivery system, not an invented performance ranking. |
| Clinical support | General HIFU research does not prove that every device carrying the same marketing label will perform the same way. | A specific platform with device-specific research, defined specifications and established clinical use. |
| Treatment design | Often sold as a fixed pass or package, with the exact depths, shots and treatment coverage difficult to compare. | The area is assessed and mapped, then treated using selected depths, modes and shot coverage based on anatomy and goals. |
| Sessions | Some systems are sold as requiring four to six or more sessions before the course is complete. | Many suitable face and neck patients can begin with one comprehensive treatment. Further treatment is based on the patient and desired result. |
| Total value | A low per-session price can become expensive once the full course, repeated visits and time are added. | A stronger treatment strategy designed to save time, reduce unnecessary repeat visits and maximise the chance of a visible result. |
Some clinics frame four to six HIFU sessions as a benefit. In practical terms, it means four to six appointments and a much higher total course cost.
When a machine or protocol is expected to need repeated sessions to do the job, the first appointment is not the true comparison. Add every visit, the time involved and the delay before the course is complete.
Many suitable facial and neck patients can achieve meaningful improvement from one properly mapped Ultraformer MPT treatment. Some may need a second treatment or maintenance depending on anatomy, laxity, response and desired outcome. That is different from requiring every patient to buy a four-to-six-session course from the outset.

Ultraformer MPT is the latest Ultraformer generation from Classys, with micro- and macro-focused ultrasound, multiple face and body depths, normal and Micro-Pulsed Technology modes, and linear and pen-style treatment options.
That flexibility allows us to treat a small brow area differently from a full face, jawline, neck or body treatment. The area, depths, modes and shot coverage are selected after assessment.
Our position is straightforward: when the goal is visible lifting, tightening or contour definition, choose a proven device capable of delivering a comprehensive treatment rather than the most impressive-sounding label.
A clinic should be able to explain the actual device, treatment coverage, expected sessions and complete cost.
Tell us what you would like treated or send us another clinic's quote. We will compare the actual device, treatment areas, shot coverage, proposed sessions and full course cost against an Ultraformer MPT treatment plan.
